Effective date: 17 September 2026 • Operator: NEET-apps
(“we”, “our”) — Physical Sciences FET Grades 10–12, an independent South
African educational resource.
1. What we collect
Only the minimum needed to run this free study site: basic anonymous usage data (pages viewed,
approximate location, device type) via cookies; your chapter progress and quiz scores, which are
stored locally on your own device using localStorage and never sent to us; and
your cookie-consent choice. No account is required and we do not knowingly collect names, ID
numbers, school details or contact information.
2. Cookies & advertising
Essential cookies remember your consent choice. If you accept all, third-party vendors including
Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at
Google Ads Settings,
or third-party cookies at
aboutads.info.
You may change your choice at any time via Cookie settings in the sidebar or footer.
3. Your rights under POPIA
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (Act 4 of 2013) you may request access to,
correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you, object to processing,
and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa. Contact
neetapps.dredwards@gmail.com — we respond within 30 days.
4. Security & how your data is protected
This app is a single self-contained page with no user accounts, no login, no server database and
no transmission of your study data. Practically, that means:
- Data minimisation — progress, quiz scores and settings never leave your browser.
- Device-level control — clearing your browser data, or the button below, erases everything we store.
- Transport security — when hosted, serve the page over HTTPS so traffic is encrypted in transit.
- Limited third parties — only the advertising and font/script providers named above can set cookies, and only after you consent.
- Content protection — casual copying deterrents are in place; all lesson content is original and protected by copyright.
5. Children
This site is designed for school learners. We do not collect personal information from children
and we do not build profiles of individual learners.
6. External links
Links to the Department of Basic Education and other third-party sites lead to services with
their own privacy policies, which we do not control. Past examination papers remain © DBE.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will appear here with a new
effective date.
